So sad ...how people react

Larkin has put everything into this team for 10 years...the team he loves...and at every turn Yzerman had made counter productive decisions that have set the team up for failure...not to mention the fact that Yzerman can't take feedback without responding like a little girl.  Larkin did the only thing he was left to do....and fans just bash he for it...wish horrible wishes on his birthday! I was hoping that now that Yzerman was out of it ... Larkin would stay with the team he loves...but now it will be a miracle... Larkin was the best part of our team.. and fans just threw him away!!!1mo

Please please...now that Yzerman is gone...can we please keep Larkin as a Red Wing ...he so loves this team and he was pushed to go because of Yzerman! We need his leadership and strength going forward.... maybe now we can get back into the race for the Cup!!!1mo

Sad times indeed...

I never thought I would see the day when a great player in my eyes ..Yserman would be so spiteful to another great hard working player like Larkin.  I not totally clear on why Larkin requested a trade but it much have been earth shattering for him to leave the team he loves so much!  Yzy has miss managed and made some horrible decisions on trades for sure but to hold Larkin hostage...keeping him from moving on to another team .. trying to hurt his career is unbelievable behavior! Yxy is acting like a little spiteful girl...not acting for the good of the team like he says...but for his own ego. Larkin has been the only one telling it like it is..and he is getting punished for it !  We should keep Larkin and fire Yzerman ...he has been making bad mistakes for years ...sad days for sure.2mo
