Longtime Detroit Red Wings color commentator Mickey Redmond recently returned to broadcasts after having undergone cervical spine fusion surgery in January.

Redmond, who spends the third period of broadcasts situated between the bench of the Red Wings and their opposition, was greeted during their game on Tuesday evening by Ottawa Senators team captain Brady Tkachuk.

He appeared to be welcoming Redmond back and offering some well-wishes in what can certainly be classified as nothing short of a classy gesture on his part.
