Former Detroit Red Wings defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, who played one lone season in Detroit in 2023-24, is now a Stanley Cup winner.

He elected not to re-sign with Detroit after they reportedly wouldn't offer him the term on the contract he was looking for, and instead signed for three years in Carolina. 

He contributed three goals and nine assists during the postseason.
