The Detroit Red Wings are already shorthanded, playing without top center and team captain Dylan Larkin. 

Now, they've lost second-line center Andrew Copp, who was hurt during Tuesday evening's matchup against the Florida Panthers in Sunrise. 

Unfortunately, the Red Wings are unable to call up forward Nate Danielson from the Grand Rapids Griffins, as he's dealing with an injury of his own. 

The Trade Deadline was on Friday, meaning that it's now too late to acquire any additional outside reinforcements.
