In a move that’s got both hockey fans and hip-hop heads buzzing, Drake’s lifestyle brand October’s Very Own (OVO) has revealed an upcoming collaboration with the Detroit Red Wings.

Known for its sleek owl logo and premium streetwear aesthetic, OVO has traditionally kept its sports collabs close to home, partnering primarily with Toronto-based teams like the Maple Leafs and Raptors. But this latest project marks a bold expansion into the wider hockey world.

The OVO x Detroit Red Wings collection features a clean, modern take on classic Red Wings imagery. The lineup includes a hat, a heavyweight hoodie, a crewneck sweatshirt, a long-sleeve collared shirt, and a graphic tee, all blending the team’s signature red-and-white color scheme with OVO’s minimalist touches. Subtle owl crests appear on some of the merch alongside the iconic winged wheel.

While the official release date for the collection has not yet been announced, the items recently appeared on Shop Hockeytown. That likely signals the merch will soon be available at stores in the Detroit area, including the team store at Little Caesars Arena.

The Detroit release joins OVO’s growing hockey-inspired lineup, which already includes collaborations with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks, LA Kings, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Montreal Canadiens. For the rest of the league, limited-edition graphic tees celebrate each team’s identity through OVO’s signature lens.
