The PWHL has stated they'll be expanding by 2-4 teams again next season after welcoming the Seattle Torrent and Vancouver Goldeneyes as expansion franchises this year.

Detroit will host not one, but two PWHL games this season as part of the PWHL Takeover Tour. When those games occur, Detroit will be the only market not in the league to date to host four games.
