It's hard to believe, but the Detroit Red Wings had only picked up four regulation wins in Philadelphia against the Flyers since early 1997.
Prior to Thursday evening's victory, they had gone 0-4-1 in their previous five games in the venue.
But their 4-2 win on Thursday gave them not only a rare win in the City of Brotherly Love, but kept their postseason hopes alive with two huge points in the standings.
It also broke a skid in which they lost three of four games in regulation.
