It's been a long time coming for the Buffalo Sabres, who are back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2011.

Unfortunately, it means that the Detroit Red Wings have inherited the longest active postseason drought from them in the process. 

But if the atmosphere in Buffalo is indicitive of what Red Wings fans can look forward to when their club finally breaks through, it will be nothing short of a complete party in the Motor City.
