On Tuesday evening, the Detroit Red Wings dropped another heartbreaker, losing 4-3 in a shootout to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Columbus tied the game at 3-3 thanks to Adam Fantilli's goal with 16.1 seconds left, followed by a tally from Zach Werenski in the shootout to decide the contest. 

The Red Wings are now three points behind the Ottawa Senators for the final Wild Card berth in the Eastern Conference, with only four games remaining. 

Have they now lost their most realistic shot at making the Stanley Cup Playoffs, or is there still a glimmer of hope?
