Suddenly, Patrick Kane's future with the Red Wings doesn't appear to be as sure as it sounded in April when he expressed interest in returning for another season. 

NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun reported recently that while the Red Wings want Kane back, he's taking time to mull over his options in the wake of Dylan Larkin's trade request earlier in the month.
