
During the offseason, the Detroit Red Wings announced that Sergei Fedorov would forever be immortalized in club history by having his iconic No. 91 jersey number officially retired.
The date of the special pre-game ceremony was announced as Jan. 12 before the Red Wings face the Carolina Hurricanes at Little Caesars Arena.

Now that the calendar has officially flipped to 2026, we're officially less than two weeks away from what guarantees to be a special night in the Motor City.
Not only will it be a great chance for Red Wings to show their appreciation for what Fedorov accomplished in Detroit, which included 400 goals and three Stanley Cup wins, but there will be multiple notable former members of the club on hand for the occasion.
