The Detroit Red Wings parted ways with forward Elmer Soderblom nearly a month ago at the March 6 NHL Trade Deadline, sending him to the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 2026 third-round draft pick.
Since then, he's scored twice while adding two assists, and picked up his first career NHL fighting major during Pittsburgh's 8-3 win over the New York Islanders on Monday evening.
Before being traded to Pittsburgh, he had two goals and an assist with the Red Wings in 40 games played this season.
