
Following what was a season-ending injury in March just 17 seconds into his NHL debut, Detroit Red Wings forward Carter Mazur set off on a quest to add healthy muscle to his frame while also completing his physical rehabilitation.
Skating in Training Camp in Traverse City, Mazur's added strength and size have been noticeable to coach Todd McLellan, who said he hopes that Mazur will eventually bring a physical element to Detroit's lineup.

Mazur showed that he can be a productive profesional hockey player as well as a physical one, scoring at just under a point per game pace with the Grand Rapids Griffins last season.
