The NHL recently released a polling of the best goaltenders aged 25 and younger, and Red Wings prospect Trey Augustine was ranked at No. 6 overall despite having never so much as played in the AHL yet, much less the NHL.
The Red Wings have two of the most exciting goaltending prospects in Augustine and 2021 1st round draft pick Sebastian Cossa, though it was Augustine who found himself on the list.
