Former Detroit Red Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek was never shy about venturing out of his crease to play the puck, and often would charge at opponents on breakaway attempts to catch them off guard and knock them off the puck.

He did just that against Minnesota Wild forward Marian Gaborik on December 7, 2007 at Joe Louis Arena - literally.

Gaborik broke in alone on Hasek, but had his head down the entire way and never noticed Hasek coming straight toward him. Gaborik was flipped literally upside down over Hasek:

The Red Wings won the game by a 5-0 score thanks to a hat trick from Henrik Zetterberg, who would later go on to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Most Valuable Player in the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Hasek picked up his 77th career shutout.
