While the Detroit Red Wings' season ends officially on Wednesday, attention will turn to the future of Patrick Kane with the organization.

He's signed a series of one-year contracts on June 30, 2024, and 2025, respectively. He's also indicated that he intends to play next season. 

While Kane isn't known for being defensively responsible, the Red Wings would be hard-pressed to replace the offense that he provides.
