Which Red Wings Forward Prospects Are NHL Ready? When training camp rolled around in Traverse City last fall, the Red Wings' roster had precious little room for emerging talents. After a robust (if short-term) investment in plug-and-play free agents over the summer, Detroit's up-and-comers had little chance to force their way into NHL roles. While we've yet to hit this summer's free agency period, that appears poised to change heading into the 2024-25 season. With that in mind, which of the Red Wings top prospects are poised to crack the NHL lineup next year? We were surprisingly of one mind on this subject, agreeing that Mazur and Kasper were likely to make that happen, while Danielson was likely to spend at least some more time in the AHL, while it feels as though Berggren will be traded.
