McDavid's Point Streak Snapped By Islanders' Ilya Sorokin

Connor McDavid's point streak was snapped at 20 games after the New York Islanders and Ilya Sorokin shut out the Edmonton Oilers. 

The Oilers had chances to score in the third period, including a one-timer by Leon Draisaitl, which hit the post while the net was open. McDavid would have extended his point streak with a primary assist if Draisaitl had converted.
