Former Oilers depth forward Jujhar Khaira is expected to sign a new contract soon. According to Elliotte Friedman, Khaira is going to be signing with the Minnesota Wild. It's yet to be seen if it will be a PTO or standard contract.
Jujhar Khaira.Khaira was a 62nd overall draft pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft for the Oilers. He has 80 points in 336 career NHL games. He has spent the last two years with the Chicago Blackhawks. From 2015 to 2021 he played with the Oilers.

Khaira could be a great depth add for the Wild organization, and bring stability to their bottom six forward group. In the coming days we should know what kind of contract he signs.
