Paul Coffey has been hired as the new defense coach for the Edmonton Oilers under Kris Knoblauch. The Edmonton Oilers are looking to continue their ascent up the Western Conference standings as they play against the Anaheim Ducks tonight. The Oilers snapped a three game losing streak with a 5-0 win against the Washington Capitals on Friday afternoon. The Oilers had a quick morning skate, but they are expected to run the same lineup that they did against the Capitals. Stuart Skinner had a strong game in net on Friday and gets the nod to be the starter today. THE OTHER SIDE The Ducks are coming off of a 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night.
