Jeremy Swayman most certainly did not have the best 2024-25 regular season. Despite that poor campaign, Swayman regained some of his street cred, backstopping the US to a gold medal in the World Championships, posting a 1-0 overtime win in the final contest. After a rough regular season, that type of performance reinforces that Swayman still is an immensely talented netminder.
Since this is an Olympic year, does Swayman need a strong season to go to Milan with Connor Hellebuyck and Jake Oettinger or does his prior pedigree automatically give him a spot?
