The top three seeds in the Central Division are locked in. Vegas and Edmonton have five and four point leads over Los Angeles for the second or third seed in the Pacific Division. Utah has a seven point lead on the closest team below the line in the Wild Card chase.

As we head down the stretch, the Kings, Kraken and Sharks all could make the stretch run interesting. Lost in the mix is Winnipeg, who faded after a strong start, impacted by the loss of Connor Hellebuyck for a while during the season. But....the Jets are lurking.

Winnipeg has 70 points with 12 games remaining, putting the Jets five points behind the Predators, who have played the same number of contests. The Predators remain red-hot and will need to remain so with several squads near them in the standings. The Jets have an outside shot to sneak in, but if Nashville continues to play as they have, the Predators will earn one of the berths with Utah likely filling the other.
