If you asked that question before the season started, someone might ask you if you know the sport at all. Halfway through the 2025-26 campaign, that comment is not so far-fetched. Celebrini may have played his way into the conversation.

Celebrini notched three assists Saturday, extending his point streak to 13 contests. He is up to 24 goals and 46 assists in 44 contests, exceeding his point total from last season. Nathan MacKinnon, Connor McDavid and Cale Makar are the likely finalists...but Celebrini at least now is in the discussion.

If Celebrini leads the Sharks to the playoffs, he should be a finalist.
