Game 82 has become must-watch television. In the past, we had instances where the final day of the season held drama, though that was not always the case. The last few seasons, seems like the final contest decides a playoff berth.

This season is shaping up to be no different. Carolina, Buffalo and Tampa are in relatively good positions. But, Montreal is third in the Atlantic Division at 90 points with 11 games remaining while Boston, in the first Wild Card spot, sits at 88 points with 10 contests left. Behind those two are Ottawa with 86 points and 10 games remaining and Detroit at 84 points and 11 contests to go. The latter two are below the eight team cut line.

In addition, the Islanders moved up to 87 points and the second Wild Card spot Thursday with nine games left. Philly is on the fringes of the race with 82 points and 11 games on their schedule followed by Washington at 81 and nine. A fantastic finish looms for the league.

On March 27, which five teams do you project to make the postseason?
