Jack Hughes just missed 100 points in 2022-23, tallying 46 goals and 53 assists. He was all but a lock for the mark before injury hit. Unfortunately, this has been the case much of his career.

In 2023-24, Hughes missed 20 games, finishing with 74 points in 62 games. Last season, he was sidelined for the same number of contests and posted 70 points. Sensing a pattern yet?

Hughes is off to a monster start to this season, posting nine markers and six helpers in 11 appearances. If Hughes can stay healthy, look for 100 points to be a near lock. Even if he misses 10 games or fewer, he still might hit that mark.
