Jason Chen and Michael Amato discuss Timo Meier's second-half resurgence following a disappointing first half.

The Sleepers and Keepers fantasy hockey podcast hosts Jason Chen and Michael Amato are back on the Timo Meier wagon again.

The Devils' power winger struggled at the beginning of the season, unable to find his rhythm due to injury and inconsistent ice time. He scored just nine goals through the first three months of the season.

Under interim head coach Travis Green, Meier has scored 14 goals and 25 points in 25 games through February and March. It's the third consecutive season he's managed to score at least 20 goals.

The Devils struggle to string wins together, but Meier's improved production bodes well for next season. Acquired from the Sharks and signed to a long-term deal, Meier is now averaging around 18-19 minutes per game.

It's crucial to the Devils' success that Meier is one of their top players; he's one of two players (Jesper Bratt) signed through the 2030-31 season.
