There was little debate between Michael and Jason on this one: unless injuries say otherwise, Connor McDavid is still the most valuable player in fantasy hockey.

There's no question Jack Hughes is a budding superstar, but his injury history has been slightly concerning, and McDavid remains in his prime at 27 years old.
It's always tough to make projections, but it's likely Hughes is still a few years away from his peak. The Oilers are also playing like an well-oiled machine right now -- excuse the pun -- while the Devils are still trying to figure things out.
