Vilmanis is an easy player to like due to the pace and energy he brings to shifts. He got to a lot of pucks and outmuscled players often in battles. He’s not the most creative forward you will ever see, but he had good flashes of skill with the puck. He looked like a player with a legit shot to become a bottom-six wing in the NHL.
