Hockey fans in South Florida have been waiting a long time to experience the fun and excitement of cheering on the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final.

The city of Fort Lauderdale, the soon-to-be home of the Panthers brand new practice facility at the old War Memorial, has found an extremely cool way to show support for the Cats.

Several buildings across the city’s skyline will be lighting up in red on game nights.

A video showing how cool this will look in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and along Las Olas has been shared by the Panthers and can be seen at the top of this page.

This isn’t only going to be happening in Fort Lauderdale.

Other areas of Broward County, including Sunrise, home of FLA Live Arena, will be doing the same.

But wait, there’s more! Per the Panthers:

Broward County, Greater Fort Lauderdale and City of Sunrise will continue their support of the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final by lighting up select buildings red on game nights, placing Panthers banners on select buildings, decals and signage around FLA Live Arena, player profile columns in hotels and more.
