Painting the Florida panther mural was one of several things the Panthers prospects did during development camp week
There was a lot of fun had on and off the ice during last week’s Florida Panthers Development Camp.
Florida’s young prospects took part in five days of grueling work both on and off the ice as the team’s development staff provided them with tools that will hopefully help them grow throughout the upcoming hockey season.
During the week, there was also a good amount of fun had by the prospects when away from the rink.
They went to the beach, attending a sushi-rolling class, played a team dodgeball tournament and even went to a Blink 182 concert.
The group also was able to have a good time while doing some good.
In collaboration with HandsOn Broward, the Panthers prospects joined a group of volunteers in painting a Florida panther mural for Pines Middle School.
It was a great way for the young, aspiring professional hockey players to spend some time working and giving back to the South Florida community.
