Florida's run to the Stanley Cup Final was special for everyone, from the players to the broadcasters to the fans
The Florida Panthers have now had over a week to process their season coming to an abrupt and emotional end.
What Florida did, squeaking into the playoffs as an eight-seed only to upset giant after giant en route to a shocking and exhilarating run to the Stanley Cup Final, was truly remarkable.
There were some amazing moments and memories to be held and cherished, but that’s hard to grasp in the immediate moments after it all comes to a crashing halt.
Now that everyone has had some time to digest the incredible journey that took place over the past nine months, members of the team are offering their thanks to the fans.
It was quite a year at FLA Live Arena.
That building was absolutely electric during Florida’s playoff run.
