Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports - Several Panthers players should hit career scoring milestones during the 2023-24 season

Looking ahead to the 2023-24 NHL season, there is a lot to be excited about with the Florida Panthers.

The defending Eastern Conference Champions are looking to build off their impressive playoff run and continue acting as a dominant force in the Eastern Conference.

When scanning Florida’s roster, there are several players who have some upcoming accomplishments to look forward to.

We’re going to take a look at them over a two-part series here at THN Florida.

For the first installment, we’ll look at milestones related to scoring. Part two will tackle longevity.

Sam Reinhart is two goals away from hitting 200.

Matthew Tkachuk needs one assist to reach 300 and is nine points shy of his 500th. He is also eight goals away from reaching 200.

Carter Verhaeghe is seven goals shy of 100 in his career and 23 points away from hitting 200.

Gus Forsling needs 14 assist to reach 100, and Ryan Lomberg is seven points shy of his 50th in the league.

Anton Lundell will reach 100 NHL points when he records 23 more, which he’ll more than likely do this season.

Eetu Luostarinen is one assist shy of 50 and 22 points away from 100 in his NHL career.

Defenseman Mike Reilly is two points away from hitting 100, while forward Evan Rodrigues is one assist shy of 100 in his career and 32 points away from 200.

Later this week we'll take a look at which Panthers players are approaching career milestones in games played, so stay tuned for that.
