Just hours after the Florid Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, members of the team headed east from Amerant Bank Arena to continue their celebrations. Tkachuk removed his championship belt and flip flips before running into the surf with the Stanley Cup raised above his head and diving into the water. The fun didn’t stop there. Several Panthers players including Tkachuk, Sasha Barkov, Sam Bennett, Steven Lorentz, Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour brought the Stanley Cup across A1A to Elbo Room to celebrate some more with their fans. A few lucky Cats fans got close enough to drink from the Stanley Cup while others had massive amounts of beer dumped on them from the Elbo Room balcony.
