The Hockey Show returned this week with plenty to discuss. From goalie fights to Heated Rivalry to the upcoming Winter Olympics, THS co-hosts Roy Bellamy and David Dwork had plenty to discuss. Joining the boys on this week’s show was Adnan Virk, studio host for Prime Monday Night Hockey and author of Cinephile. Among the topics discussed with Adnan were Mitch Marner’s return to Toronto, his thoughts on Heated Rivalry and the reception the show has received, and his mid-season NHL awards predictions. Wins and fails included the aforementioned goalie fight between Sergei Bobrovsky and Alex Nedeljkovich, a phantom tripping penalty that was possibly the worst call of the season, one of the most confusing own-goals you’ll ever see and an empty-net blunder that cost the Flyers two points.
