Kings roster still has some questions
As we get deeper into the NHL offseason and training camp inches closer, it is pretty apparent who will be goaltenders for the Kings when they open up the year. Phoenix Copley and Cam Talbot will both probably be on the opening night roster, but there is still a lot of goalie depth in the Kings system. Erik Portillo and David Rittich will be waiting in the AHL if either Copley or Talbot gets hurt.
Heading into training camp, top prospect Akil Thomas will be looking to earn a spot on the Kings roster. He has been bitten by the injury bug the past couple of seasons but will be looking to contribute to the Kings this year. Thomas had 8 points in 13 games last season.
