Kings using Australia trip to build team chemistry
Before the preseason starts, the Kings' prospects showed off their skills in the rookie face-off taking place in Las Vegas. In three games, the team went winless with a 0-2-1 record. Despite the bad record, head coach Marco Sturm still liked the intensity coming from his team.
As the Kings are currently in Australia for its preseason game against the Coyotes, it is an opportunity for the team to build chemistry. Captain Anze Kopitar is used to starting his training camp overseas as he was on the Kings when they started in China in 2017. Kopitar is waiting until the trip is over to compare the two experiences.
