
One of the Wild's prospect picked up an assist over USA in Finland's win.
The Wild are pretty well represented at the 2025 IIHF Men's World Championships in Ottawa, Canada. They have one player on Team USA and three on Team Finland.
One of the three players on Finland is Aron Kiviharju who is the team captain. Sebastian Soini and Rasmus Kumpulainen make up the other two.
Kumpulainen, 19, left the OHL before this season to return to Finland to play in the Liiga. He has three goals and 11 points in 28 games so far.
The Wild's 53rd overall pick from the 2023 NHL Draft is one of Finland's alternate captains for the tournament. He assisted on the team's third goal on Sunday.
He has one assist in two games for Finland.
