The NHL announced Canadiens goalie Jakub Dobeš has been named the third star of the month behind Vegas' Jack Eichel and Jets Mark Scheifele.

Through six starts, Dobeš is 6-0, and  is one of the main reasons Montreal sits atop the Atlantic Division with an 8-3 record. 

Dobeš holds a spectacluar 1.97 goals against average and .930 save percentage, both of which he ranks top three in among goalies who have started five or more games
