The Canadiens Might Already Have Their 2nd Line Center

In the latest edition of The Sick Podcast, Tony Marinaro discusses the possibility of Ivan Demidov becoming a center for the Montreal Canadiens. Do you think that would be a good move? I have some reservations; it seems to me that it's easier to use a player who's had years to hone his craft as a centerman than to roll the dice on yet another maybe-solution. Kirby Dach didn't work out, Alex Newhook doesn't seem to be a center either, and if we go way back, Jonathan Drouin was also an unsuccessful gamble. What's your take on converting Demidov?
