    Game Report

After a dominant win in Manitoba on Sunday afternoon, the Rocket were back at it on Monday against the Moose for a school day morning game which kicked off at 11:30 am ET.

Mattias Norlinder drew back into the lineup for this game, after Jayden Struble was assessed a three-game suspension earlier in the day as a result of his actions in the post-game fight Sunday afternoon. Strauss Mann got the start in net, with Jakub Dobes backing him up, seemingly recovered from the cramping issues he experienced at the end of the previous game.

Once again, Laval didn't waste much time getting on the board, with Xavier Simoneau cleaning up a loose puck in the crease just over a minute after the opening faceoff. It was his first of two goals on the day. Olivier Galipeau extended the lead toward the end of the opening frame.

After a slower start to the second period, Laval got into a bit of penalty trouble, and Manitoba made them pay with a power play goal against. However, young Joshua Roy restored the team's two-goal lead with a deflection in front of the net.

Sean Farrell had an impressive game today, potting a goal late in the game in addition to registering a primary assist on two of the Rocket goals. Today's victory also marks Mann's first win on the season in net.
