The 18-year-old also had a seven-game point streak that began on Oct. 15 and lasted the remainder of the month, thanks to two points on Oct. 30. After winning September Rookie of the Month honors, with eight points in ten games, Demidov seemed to be a lock to repeat as the KHL's top Rookie. Although Demidov didn't win his second consecutive Rookie of the Month honor, he has 19 points and dropped to 16th in league scoring after having his seven-game point streak snapped on Saturday in a 4-2 loss to Salavat Yulaev Ufa.
