Vancouver’s first game against Nashville in 2024–25 takes place on October 23, with this being the final game of a five-game road trip for the Canucks at the start of the season. This could be one of those games that ends in an unexpected loss for Vancouver, as before this, they’ll play a back-to-back and two other games within the span of eight days. Their next matchup takes place at the start of November, while their final game against one-another this season will be on March 12.1y

The Predators have stockpiled quite a few WHLers in their system. They drafted Medicine Hat Tigers defenceman Tanner Molendyk, Red Deer Rebels forward Kalan Lind and Everett Silvertips forward Austin Roest in 2023 before adding Lethbridge Hurricanes forward Miguel Marques and Kelowna Rockets forward Hiroki Gojsic in 2024. Nashville's AHL team also has a connection to the WHL, as Tigers captain Oasiz Wiesblatt signed with the Milwaukee Admirals for the upcoming season.1y
