Sportsnet NHL insider Elliotte Friedman said on the 32 Thoughts podcast on Monday that he is not sure how the Nashville Predators will solve contract negotiations with forward Luke Evangelista. 

"They [Predators] want to show this year is going to be different. I think they have got a number and they've kind of said this is our number and I'm not sure if they've moved very far at this point in time," Elliotte said.
