After being absent from Canada's game against Finland on Wednesday in the World Junior Summer Showcase, Nashville Predators fifth overall pick center Brady Martin was back in the lineup on Friday against Sweden.
While it didn't go the Canadians way, losing 8-4, Martin got on the board for the first time.
Coming down the right side, Martin used defenseman Carl-Otto Magnusson as a screen, allowing him to beat goalie Love Härenstam high glove side.
Martin now has two points in two games. Canada has one last game in the tournament against Predators prospects Ryker Lee, Teddy Stiga and Jacob Rombach, taking on the United States on Saturday.
