The World Junior Summer Showcase came to a close on Saturday with four Predators prospects facing off against each other in the final game between Canada and the United States.
Fifth overall draft pick Brady Martin and 21st overall pick Cameron Reid played for Canada, while 26th overall pick Ryker Lee and second-rounder Jacob Rombach played for the USA.
Martin recorded an assist and four penalty minutes in Canada's 6-2 romping over the United States.
Martin was called for charging in the first period after hitting a U.S. player in the back and cross-checking late in the second period.
On his assist, he attempted to put the puck on net with his backhand but missed. The puck would bounce off the end boards behind the net, leading to a goal by Chicago Blackhawks draft pick Marek Vanacker.
Rombach got into a scuffle with Vanacker after Vanacker crashed into the U.S. goalie.
Lee did draw a tripping penalty in first period and had a great scoring chance later on the power play in the game. He got a backhanded shot off from the slot but hit the post.
