    Earlier this week, the Bakersfield Condors, AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, signed former Nashville Predators prospect Luke Prokop to a one-year, two-way contract.

    Prokop, the first openly gay player to be contracted by an NHL team, was selected by Nashville in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft. On Wednesday, he appeared on Oilers Now with Bob Stauffer.
