The Predators may have lost, but something good still came out of tonight's game. Matthew Wood, the Predators fifth ranked prospect notched his first NHL goal.

With just over two minutes remaining in the second period, Flyers forward Owen Tippett attempted to clear the puck out of his own zone, but the pass was intercepted by Erik Haula. Haula centered the puck to Michael Bunting who dropped it back for Wood. With an open shooting lane, Wood sniped one past Dan Vladar's glove side.

Through five career games, Wood has a goal, an assist and a +1 rating.

Do you think Wood can earn a top six role in Nashville?
