    Diamond Sports Group which owns Bally Sports announced today it has reached a restructuring agreement involving an investment from Amazon, and the move could change the way Predators fans watch their team.

    After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March of 2023, Diamond Sports Group has reached a tentative agreement that could change their future. Diamond Sports group owns Bally Sports which has broadcasting rights to Nashville Predators games. 

    Amazon has offered to become a minority shareholder as part of the agreement which will need to be approved by the court before it is finalized. A ruling on the deal could come as soon as this week. this could mean that Predators fans may eventually be able to watch Predators games via Amazon Prime. 

    While details of the direct-to-consumer content are still unclear, the deal could affect teams in the NHL, MLB, and NBA including the Nashville Predators. Pricing and availability details will be announced at a later date.
