Mark you calendars and make your plans. The Predators open the regular season on October 10.

The Nashville Predators released their 2023-24 regular season schedule, and the countdown to Preds hockey can now begin. Nashville kicks off its season with an away game on October 10 against the Tampa Bay Lightning before the home opener at Bridgestone Arena on October 12. The Preds will face Eeli Tolvanen and the Seattle Kraken in that first home game.
October 17 will be a bittersweet game as Nashville will face off at home against former Predator Mattias Ekholm. The Predators have a three game home stand in late October before heading out west for a five game road trip in which they'll face Vancouver, Seattle, Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg. Nashville will welcome back another long time Predator when Ryan Johansen and his new team the Colorado Avalanche come to town November 20 during a five game home stretch.
Nashville will play fifteen total games in the month of December, seven at home and eight on the road. They will wrap up 2023 with back to back road games on December 29-30 against Detroit and Washington respectively. January will be a frequent flyer month for the team as they travel for eight games including a stop in Florida on January 22 where new head coach Andrew Brunette served in 2021-2022 as interim head coach.
Nashville will have a chance to break that recent post-All Star Break struggle they have fallen into with three games on home ice in February before embarking on another five game road stretch that extends late in the month. In March the Predators will host six games at Bridgestone Arena and travel for seven games on the road.
The Predators will finish the regular season in April facing off against five Eastern Conference teams including the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, and Columbus Blue Jackets. Nashville will only have three games against Western Conference opponents down the final stretch.

It is going to be a very different season in Nashville with the focus of incoming General Manager being a reset with an already different looking team. Predators fans will have to see what a fresh roster can do under Andrew Brunette over the 2023-24 season.
