This Nashville Predators offseason involved plenty of moves followed by plenty of speculation on what a different Predators' roster might look like. This week, a very different looking 61 man roster took the ice at Ford Ice Center Bellevue to open the 2023-24 training camp.
One player noticeably absent from training camp this year is Ryan Johansen who was traded to Central Division rival Colorado Avalanche in the offseason. The Hockey News staff believe that Johansen may thrive with his new team while Nashville works through a more challenging reset.

Speaking of goalies, the Nashville Predators signed veteran goaltender Troy Grosenick who will likely partner with Yaroslav Askarov in Milwaukee to start the season. Grosenick may be the veteran in that tandem, but he believes he can learn from young Askarov as well.
